As technology improves each day, things getting better and more advanced, teenagers are always trying to get their hands on the newest trend of software. From computers to phones, everything is on the go. It seems to me that the technology gadget which is always changing is the Ipod. Even if you feel you have finally got the latest ipod, wait a year and Apple will come out with another one even better than the previous one.
This is exactly what happened to me. I got my first ipod in 8th grade and I was very excited about it, as it was the black ipod classic 30 gig. It was a terrific ipod but a half a year later they came out with the new 6th generation ipod classic. It was lighter than the previous and its surface was made of material that was smudge resistant. Also when you turned it on, they had a better home screen. Of course I still liked my ipod but I wished it had the new features that came with the 6th generation ipod. As new ipods came out like the itouch, I felt like I wanted a new ipod. Finally last year I bought the ipod touch. It is an amazing ipod that has a touch screen. Even though I got the new one, I learned my lesson that technology is something that no one can predict and it is always changing.
You might have recently seen the new ipods that apple has come out with. For the ipod classic, Apple has increased its memory to 120 gig. For the new ipod touch, they have included built in speakers. Lastly for the ipod nano they have an accelerometer which is very useful. Whenever you want to shuffle your music, you just give the ipod a shake and the music is shuffled. If you are thinking of buying a new ipod it is a really good time to buy one, but remember don’t be immersed in the idea of having the latest ipod. In short, my point is; don’t spend your entire time waiting for the next best ipod, instead be thankful you have one and remember despite all the new features that come with ipods, they all have their original use of listening to music.

I agree that technology is changing every second. It is becoming more and more advanced. The same thing happened to me when I got my first ipod. By the next year they had come out with another two new ipods. Another example of this is when I read in the Chicago Tribune that they were coming out with solar charged batteries for laptops. But nothing in my opinion gets more attention to teenagers than ipods. I was completely shocked when they came out with the idea of a iphone and thought that would probably be the last of the new ideas but as people are talking, I have a feeling now that they are just going to keep getting more advanced.
I got my first iPod Nano many years ago, and I still use it. At the time I thought it was the most advanced, amazing piece of technology ever. I mean, it could hold 2Gb worth of music on it! Now it seems so futile, and old. It can't compare to the new generation iPods. Every year there is a huge improvement in iPod technology, and I have a feeling it won't stop for a long time. I don't think there will ever be a limit to technology.
